How to care for sunflowers?

Give sunflowers a stable, clean vase because their heads and stems can become heavy. Recut the stems, remove submerged leaves, and use fresh water with flower food. Change the water frequently and keep the vase cool, away from harsh sun, heat, and ripening fruit.
