How to arrange flowers in a vase?

Choose a clean vase roughly half to two-thirds the height of the finished arrangement. Remove leaves below the waterline, recut every stem, and begin with foliage or structural flowers. Add focal blooms at varied heights, turn the vase as you work, and leave enough space for movement.
